This program is designed for career-change* individuals who have not yet completed the courses that are required for applying to medical, dental, or other health professional schools. Even post-baccalaureate students who lack any science background can, within 12 months of summer matriculation, complete the prerequisite courses for the Medical College Aptitude Test (MCAT) or the Dental Aptitude Test (DAT) by enrolling in this program.

‡Calculus is required at Duke University Medical School and about 20 other medical schools around the US. If you are not planning to apply to any of these medical schools, you do not need to take Calculus I.
NOTE: Courses listed are part of the normal course offerings of UNC Greensboro. Advising is done on an individual basis. The full assistance of the UNC Greensboro Health Careers Advisory Committee is available to all students. QUALIFICATIONS: To apply, a student must have received a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Students will be classified as Pre-professional, 2nd degree.
