Engaging the corporate community.

UNCG is committed to driving economic activity in the Triad and values the corporate relationships that are essential to fulfilling this mission. The Corporate Relations Committee (CRC), a subset of the UNCG Board of Visitors, provides local business leaders direct access to the university and demonstrates UNCG's role as a resourceful and enthusiastic partner. Representing a variety of businesses in the Triad, members learn first-hand about the university's latest developments and serve as an advisory council to help heighten UNCG's visibility and identify the best ways to serve our local community.

The CRC meets once a month on campus. Recent topics of discussion include the Economics 201 online course, the Urban Studio home building project, and the childcare program. It also organizes the annual UNCG Business Summit, which brings a top executive from such major corporations as FedEx, Lenovo and Microsoft to speak on campus each fall.

Contact David Arneke (drarneke@uncg.edu) or Diane Picciuto (dmpicciu@uncg.edu) for more information about the CRC or about becoming a corporate donor to the university.
