Communication Across the Curriculum
SI Request Forms
When proposing a course for SI credit, this form must accompany the course syllabus.
Please include oral communication as one of the learning objectives on your syllabus.
Course proposals are reviewed and approved based upon the program guidelines, as indicated in the original proposal. If you intend to significantly alter course pedagogy/delivery by converting a speaking-intensive course to an on-line or blended format, you will need to submit a new proposal outlining specifically how the course, in its new format, will meet the requirements of the Speaking Across the Curriculum program.

The deadline for Fall 2009 courses is Friday, February 20, 2009, and for submitting Spring 2010 proposals is Monday, October 5, 2009.
The committee meets within a week after the deadline, and will notify submitters of status immediately after the meeting.
