Research, scholarship, and creative activity have taken on an increased level of vitality at UNCG. The Office of Research assists faculty in these efforts by coordinating activities related to research, technology transfer, compliance, and economic development.

Retaining the Public's Trust

The University's research environment encourages the pursuit of learning and the discovery of new knowledge. Chancellor Patricia A. Sullivan has affirmed that sponsored programs and research activities "retain the public's trust by engaging in research activities that are consistent in nature, quality, scope, and importance with its educational purpose, and that are conducted under conditions that ensure its academic integrity."
