The University of North Carolina at Greensboro Office of Campus Activities and Programs, a department within the Division of Student Affairs, provides and supports opportunities for transformative learning through involvement. The Office of Campus Activities and Programs identifies participation and engagement in student organizations; planning, executing, and experiencing campus events and programs; and fostering leadership in the student community as cornerstones of involvement. Additionally, Campus Activities and Programs collaborates across campus to connect student organizations to community service and social justice initiatives.

Alexandra Marchesano is originally from Brooklyn, New York. She serves as the Director of Campus Activities and Programs. In her role as Director, she works with the staff in Campus Activities and Programs by providing students with opportunities to participate and get involved with student groups, Greek Life, leadership opportunities, connecting commuters, transfers and adult learners to the UNCG community, and communicating major events and traditions to students.
Alexandra earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wagner College. She received her Master's Degree in Student Developmental Practice in Higher Education from St. John's University. Prior to working at UNCG, Alexandra worked at Stony Brook University as the Director of Student Activities. Alexandra has been in Higher Education for 16 years.
Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys traveling with her husband Mike, playing with their chocolate lab Coco, shopping, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Jeff Lail advises the Campus Activities Board and coordinates UNCG Weekend. He's been working in Student Unions since 2007, working at NC State University, The College of New Jersey and UNCG.
He's involved with the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) and serves as the Leader of the Technology Community of Practice.
Lisa is responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive programs for adult, transfer, and commuter students and advocating for these populations across campus. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Lisa earned a BS in Advertising from Kent State University in 1991. After working in retail management for a couple of years, Lisa went to Buffalo State College where she earned a MS in Student Personnel Administration.
Lisa was the Coordinator for Student Development Programs at the University of Southern Indiana, and most recently the Director of New Student and Leadership Programs at Randolph College (founded as Randolph-Macon Woman's College) in Lynchburg, Va. While at VT, Lisa taught courses in the Residential Leadership and First Year Student Living Learning Communities.
When not working with students, Lisa can be found reading, painting in watercolors, or volunteering in the community as a member of the Junior League of Greensboro. She is the proud human parent of two rescue cats, Ming, a sweet Siamese mix and Callie, a wild 'n crazy Calico.
Ashleigh Musyt, originally from a small town in northeastern Ohio , where they make Smuckers jelly, serves as the Assistant Director for Student Group Leadership Development in CAP. She advises the Student Government Association, provides oversight to the Student Group Recognition process, coordinates campus-wide leadership programs, and supervises Spartans Leading Spartans peer leadership consultant.
Ashleigh earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University in 2005 and her Master of Arts in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University in 2007. Prior to working for UNCG, Ashleigh worked in the Allegheny College Center for Experiential Learning as a Career Counselor and Leadership Coordinator.
Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys staying active and spending time with friends and family. She recently sat for her group fitness instructor exam and hopes to teach a wide variety of aerobic and strength training classes in the Greensboro community. You can also find her reading a good book, watching one of her favorite shows, or walking her pup, Mischa, in one of Greensboro's wonderful parks.
Curtis Tarver grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a minor in music from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a Master of Education degree in college student affairs from the University of South Florida. Prior to his position here at UNCG, Curtis was a graduate assistant with the Campus Activities Board at the University of South Florida. In the Office of Campus Activities & Programs, Curtis advises the Campus Activities Board and works with student groups on event planning.
Joshua Moll is working towards a Master of Education in Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education here at UNCG. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology at Appalachian State University in 2007 and then spent four years working at ASU in the Office of Admissions. During his time working at ASU, Joshua served as advisor for the Appalachian Student Ambassadors and counseled students from all over the east coast through the admissions process.
Joshua is currently serving as the Graduate Assistant for Student Groups and Leadership at UNCG. He works directly with UNCG's Student Government Association, Spartan Leading Spartans, student group recognition process, and is involved in several leadership initiatives across UNCG's campus.
Parker Watson is working towards a Master of Education in Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education at UNCG. She earned her B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in German Language at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010.
Parker is currently serving as the Graduate Assistant for Programming at UNCG. She works directly with UNCG's Campus Activities Board and Campus Greek Association.
Funda Mills, a native of Greensboro, NC, attended Florida A&M University, and received a B.A. in Psychology, from North Carolina A&T State University. She has served in her current position as Business Manager since November, 2004, and is responsible for maintaining and reconciling funds associated with the Office of Campus Activities and Programs and Elliott University Center.
Maggie Jones is originally from Massachusetts and has lived in Spain, Washington DC, and Texas before moving to Greensboro in 2004. She has been an Administrative Assistant in the Office of Campus Activities and Programs since January 2007. Maggie works with the CAP staff during the student group recognition process, processes event and merchandising permits and Greek Life paperwork.
Maggie is a veteran of the United States Navy. When not at work she enjoys travelling, reading, and rooting for her favorite sports teams.
