What to Expect
Behavior
By attending the Fall Leadership Academy, you are representing your institution, your student group, and college students in general. Therefore, you are expected to conduct yourselves in a professional manner. Since the Academy is designed for campus leaders and emerging leaders, expectations are high. Please help us meet those expectations.
Dress
We recommend participants come dressed in "Business Casual". For example, a collared shirt, blouse, dress pants, khaki pants, longer skirt, or casual dress. No jeans or "spaghetti strap" tops please!
Emergencies
In the event of an emergency on campus grounds, please contact UNCG staff as soon as possible.
Evaluations
Following each educational session, evaluation forms will be distributed. Please complete these forms to assist us in assessing the effectiveness of the sessions.
Meals
Throughout the event, program participants will receive a light breakfast and Luncheon. All other snacks and/or meals are on your own.
Nametags
Please wear your nametag at all times. It serves as your admittance to all programs and meals. Participation
Active participation is the key to the success of this Conference. Come well rested, mentally and physically present and open to new insights.
Alcohol
The Leadership Acadmey is an alcohol and drug free educational experience. Participants may not come under the influence of any alcohol or drugs or seek to engage in any controlled substances throughout the day. Anyone found in violation will be dismissed without refund and sent home at her or his own expense.
