CASA is home to academic advising for first year students (having less than 24 earned credit hours) majoring in the College of Arts and Sciences.*
We can help you choose the right courses to take and guide you to the many resources at UNCG to help you succeed.

*First year students majoring in Biochemistry, Mathematics, Philosophy, and Physics are advised in their respective academic departments. Links to their web addresses are listed below.
CASA is in 103 Foust Building.
Advising is by appointment only, there is no walk-in advising available.
***In order to prepare for our fall semester classes, CASA will NOT be scheduling advising appointments from August 5-16. Please contact your major department if you need assistance during that time.

Thinking of changing your major? Many major changes can be made online.
If you want to change your major to a degreee outside of the College of Arts and Sciences, you may need to contact the department directly. When emailing CASA with questions regarding major changes, please be sure to include your desired new major so we can direct you appropriately.
