What do I have to do to graduate?
There are three types of requirements you will have to meet: Major Requirements, General Education Requirements, and Electives. Meet them all and you GRADUATE! Keep track of your progress by using your Degree Evaluation.
How do I generate an Evaluation?
- Log into UNCGenie
- Select Student & Financial Aid
- Select Student Records
- Select Degree Evaluation
- Accept Default Term
- Click Radio Button by your Major and then click “Generate New Evaluation” at the bottom of the page
- Select “Detail Requirements”

When should I generate an Evaluation?
Early & Often! Seriously, generating a new evaluation should be your first step in choosing classes. You should also generate a new evaluation immediately after you register for classes to make sure that the classes you chose meet the requirements you thought they would.

I think my Degree Evaluation is wrong!
If you think that your Degree Evaluation is listing the wrong requirements or that it is reflecting your progress inaccurately, you should report your concerns to your advisor right away. If it is wrong, we will help you get it fixed. If you are wrong and the Evaluation is right, we’ll help you make a plan to meet the requirements!
