futuroscope: visions of the future

The 2000 Carolina Film and Video Festival will take place Wednesday through
Saturday, 15-18 March, at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. This year we
look at the world of film and video through the lens of the FUTUROSCOPE, which
will highlight not only the cutting edge of today, but the perceptions of
tomorrow through the eyes of yesterday as well. CFVF screens films from students and independent filmmakers around the world. CFVF also brings nationally prominent artists to jury the competitive portion of the festival and to present their own creative and scholarly work in the field.
This year's jury features the keen eyes and talent of Dr.
William Rothman, Charity Ellis,
