Campus Access and Parking

Because May 5, 2009 is a normal class day, visitor and delegate parking for the Chancellor’s Installation will be at the Greensboro Coliseum. (Students and faculty will be in class and, thus, will be utilizing our limited campus parking.) Shuttle buses will run between the Coliseum and the UNCG campus on a regular basis beginning at 8:00 a.m.

General Guests attending the installation are asked to park at the Greensboro Coliseum by 9:30 am. Shuttle buses will take you to the UNCG campus.

Delegates from other institutions marching in the academic processional need to arrive at the Greensboro Coliseum parking lot off Ellington Street by 8:15 am. Shuttle buses will take you to the robing/gathering room on the UNCG campus.

Other participants marching in the academic processional need to arrive at the Greensboro Coliseum parking lot off Ellington Street by 8:30 am. Shuttle buses will take you to the robing/gathering room on the UNCG campus.

Shuttle buses will run continuously and regularly between the Coliseum and the UNCG campus from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Installation Day.
