The UNCG network

Our Mission

The UNCG Network unites University alumni and friends as advocates for UNCG, drawing attention to University issues with legislators and other decision makers.

Our Members

First organized in 1995, the UNCG Network has grown to nearly 400 members around the state who can help shape legislative decisions. Members are alumni, parents, and friends of UNCG - anyone who cares about the University and can have an impact on decisions affecting higher education. Members do not pay dues, except by their volunteer service: They keep abreast of legislative issues, communicate with lawmakers as appropriate, and help identify and recruit other members of the UNCG Network.

Our Strategy

UNCG Network members are educated about legislative issues through periodic Network letters. Network members contact legislators to advance UNCG's priorities in the General Assembly.

Involvement

UNCG Network members are involved in three ways:
Education- Keeping up-to-date on the status of the legislative process.
Activism- Responding to action requests by writing, calling, or visiting local legislators and other influential people.
Recruitment- Identifying other UNCG alumni and friends to join the UNCG Network.

Join the UNCG Network and work for the future of UNCG.
