The UNCG Network unites community members, corporate leaders, faculty, staff, students and alumni who serve as advocates for UNCG, representing the university’s best interests to legislators and other decision makers.
Organized in 1995, the UNCG Network has grown to nearly 400 members around the state who can help shape legislative decisions. The Network is open to anyone who cares about the university and wants to make a positive impact on decisions affecting higher education. No dues are collected; we simply ask for your volunteer service by keeping abreast of legislative issues, communicating with lawmakers as appropriate, and helping identify and recruit other potential members of the Network.
As a member of the UNCG Network, you will be educated about legislative issues. By helping educate local legislators and other influential people, you will make a valuable contribution.
Over the years, members of the UNCG Network have come together to make a positive impact for UNCG. Through our advocacy, budget cuts have been minimized, critical investments have been made to advance the university and the UNCG student experience has been protected and enhanced.
