CCI 201 Introduction to Classical Civilization: Greece
GRADING

Written assignments are worth 25% of your course grade. A good deal of written work, including questions for class, source analyses, and group reports will be assigned. These assignments fall under the UNCG Academic Honor Policy, and must include the following statement: "I have abided by the UNCG Academic Honor Policy on this assignment," along with your signature.

Class participation is worth 20% of your course grade. Your presence, questions, thoughts, analysis, and judgements are required at all times. Half of this grade will be determined by your participation in class discussions, the other half by your participation in various group projects. Making presentations to the class is a requirement of this course. You will be assigned to groups by the instructor.

Unit exams are worth 30% of your course grade. They may consist of multiple choice, identification, short answer, and essay questions. They will primarily cover material studied in that unit.

Final exam is worth 25% of your course grade. ID, short answer, and  essay. It is cumulative in this sense: the ID and short answer will only cover material learned since the last unit exam, but the final essay will require you to integrate readings/lectures/discussions from the entire course.
