NCCA Placement Service
The
Placement Service of the North Carolina Classical Association serves as
a clearinghouse, passing on to candidates and the public at large information
about job openings. We charge no fee for our service, but we do encourage
candidates to join the NCCA.
Administrators who have or foresee openings are invited to send us a description
of the job opening that we can post on our Job Openings page.
Candidates seeking positions
are invited to e-mail the Placement Service Director, David Wharton, at
wharton@uncg.edu so as to be added
to the notification list. Candidates will be notified via e-mail whenever
a new position arises, and will be directed to the job listing on the NCCA
web site.
Candidates may wish to send cover letters and resumes to individual schools or to the larger school systems in the state. North Carolina enjoys certification reciprocity with other states; for details write to

If you are interested in applying for positions outside North Carolina, be sure to register with the American Classical League's Placement Service, Miami University, Oxford OH 45056. They maintain a list of all state and regional classical organizations that have placement services for Latin teachers. You can also check for jobs at their web site: http://www.aclclassics.org
