Student Organizations

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
The ACM is a major professional society for computer scientists. The Department has an active student chapter.

Computer Communications Networking Group (CCNG)
The main aim of CCNG is to conduct Research on current topics in Computer Networking. Our Research and study focuses on Number of different Networking Areas, Queue management for Congestion Control for TCP, Ad-hoc Wireless Networks. Multimedia Networking Issues, Network and Information Security (Multimedia Robust Watermarking and Cryptography), Digital Video Coding, Compression and Transmission, Application of Intelligent Techniques including Fuzzy Systems and Genetic Algorithm, Image Segmentation and Edge detection and Tracking Algorithms, Perceptual Modelling, and Image Restoration.

Upsilon Pi Epsilon
Upsilon Pi Epsilon is the national honor society for outstanding students of the computing sciences.
