The Beverly Babcock Dodson-Mariana Newton Continuing Education Endowment in Communication Sciences and Disorders was established by Beverly’s mother, Martha Babcock Bird and her husband, Frank Bird. The endowment makes it possible for The University of North Carolina at Greensboro to welcome scientists, speech-language pathologists and audiologists for continuing exploration of new ideas, research, and applications in addressing the needs of persons with communication disorders.
