Curriculum Vita
Elena Patten is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at The University of North Carolina Greensboro. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Riverside, her Master's degree from Old Dominion University and her PhD, from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Her Master's and PhD are in speech-language pathology. Dr. Patten's teaching and research interests are primarily focused in autism spectrum disorders with an emphasis on communication, attention and sensory processing. Dr. Patten joined the faculty at UNCG Fall, 2010 and has taught CSD 337 (Language Disorders), and CSD 636 (Birth to Five Years: Prevention, assessment and intervention).
