The Center seeks to take best practice and research and translate information into experiential, active training methods by providing Training and Technical assistance to a wide variety of partners across disciplines. The CYCFP assists in the coordination and collaboration of similar projects and curriculum design
Through its association with qualified resources in the community, the CYCFP also offers courses and technical support to assist communities in creating local training teams. With a focus on partnering with family members, CYFCP approaches training in communities as one way to support independent sustainability of ongoing learning.
Through trainer skills development, course offerings, training of trainers, and other avenues for creating learning environments, CYFCP hopes to ensure high quality, family driven training conducted across North Carolina on a regular basis.
