Section Description/Goal

To address needs at a community systems level by supporting the implementation of evidence based practices and model programs which mutually benefit families, specific populations, and the community as a whole.

Section Initiatives/Project Names/Brief Description

  • Juvenile Justice Substance Abuse Mental Health Partnership (JJSAMHP)

The Juvenile Justice/Substance Abuse/Mental Health Partnership Initiative is a statewide effort designed to support locally-driven, organized, coordinated and effective service delivery system improvement that will provide a continuum of evidence-based and specialized mental health and substance abuse treatment options for individuals in the juvenile justice system and their families. The CYFCP provides training, technical assistance, and evaluation for the JJSAMHP.
Funder: East Carolina Behavioral Health (NC Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services) 

  • Reclaiming Futures

Guilford County Reclaiming Futures is one of 26 sites across the nation and 6 sites in NC that address alcohol, drugs, and juvenile justice involvement by more treatment, better treatment, and beyond treatment.
