Partners Overview

The NCHLC seeks to collaborate with NC communities to develop locally-based coalitions to address community health literacy issues. Guilford County established the first local collaborative in 2005 using the guide developed by the National Center for the Study of Adult Learning and Literacy (NCSALL), Health Literacy Public Health Forums: Partners for Action. This guide is available at: http://www.ncsall.net/index.php?id=899

Current partners of the NCHLC include community agencies, funders and supporters of the effort to make clear health communication a priority in North Carolina. Join the NCHLC today and learn how your organization can help make a difference in your community.
