is working on her doctoral degree in Educational Research Methodology at UNCG. She received an M.A. degree from Wake Forest University in Experimental Psychology and a B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. She worked as a project coordinator for two years at UNCG assessing what types of social and a cognitive skills help promote academic success in preschoolers and was a graduate assistant for two years at the Winston-Salem Children’s Developmental Services Agency, conducting developmental assessments for children from birth to three years of age. She is currently working on a grant from the NC Parent Information Resource Center (PIRC) as well as the NC Trauma Task Force.
