Lynn Sametz holds the Ph.D. in Education from Indiana University and a Master’s in Special Education. She currently serves as a Research Scientist at the Center for Youth, Family and Community Partnerships. She has over 15 years of experience in designing effective university-community partnerships that enhance educational opportunities for all students. Prior to joining the Center, she was Education Outreach Director and Service-Learning Coordinator at Ohio State Lima with primary responsibility for developing and sustaining outreach activities with the community. She was also interim Assistant Director for Community Engagement in the Office of Leadership and Service-Learning at UNCG. Her current interests focus on creating the opportunity to increase preK- 12 school success through effective university-community collaborations.
