currently serves as Deputy Director for the Center for Youth, Family and Community Partnerships. She has 30 years of experience and expertise working with community organizations in the areas of management, strategic planning, organizational development, capacity building and executive coaching. Prior to working with the Center, Stephanie served as principal in the firm of Walker & Associates Consulting Inc. She has served in many community organizations in key roles such as, executive director, director of development and communications and director of annual giving.
Ms. Walker served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits for two years and served on the Center’s Board for six years. She recently completed terms on the boards of the N.C. Center for Public Policy Research the Changemakers Foundation in San Francisco, CA. She received her B.A. in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed coach training with the Institute for Life Coach Training in Fort Collins, Colorado. She achieved her CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) designation in 1990. She is a graduate of Leadership Greensboro.
