UNCG Records Major Achievements at NCA Convention

UNCG’s Communication Studies Department achieved major successes at the National Communication Association’s 93rd annual convention, held this year in Chicago on Nov. 14-18. The National Communication Association (NCA), founded in 1914, is the oldest and largest academic organization devoted to communication studies.

This year, nine faculty and staff from the department presented on 17 panels and preconference sessions. Graduate students Megan Morrissey and Armond Towns also presented scholarship on panels.

Here are some NCA convention highlights.
