Faculty & Students in award winning book
The book "Communication Activism" edited by Larry Frey begins with a chapter on the Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation process written by Dr. Spoma Jovanovic, Carol Steger, Donata Nelson and Sarah Symonds. The book will receive NCA's Applied Communication Research "Outstanding Edited Book Award" at the upcoming annual convention in San Diego. The reviewers note how the researchers not only promoted social change, but importantly were agents as well of social change.
Lead author Dr. Jovanovic is proud for the work so many of our students and colleagues have done with her on this, and particularly co-authors Carol Steger, Donata Nelson and Sarah Symonds.
