B.S. in Recreation and Parks Management – Community Recreation and Event Planning Concentration

Specializing in the Community Recreation and Event Planning concentration will prepare students for supervisory and managerial positions in the public, non-profit, and commercial sectors of the leisure service delivery system. Students learn the concepts, philosophies, and applications necessary to effectively and efficiently administer programs and services in a variety of leisure service settings, including municipal and county departments, state and national agencies, voluntary youth serving agencies, religious-affiliated social agencies, for-profit businesses, and employee and corporate recreation programs.
