Doctor of Philosophy

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers the Doctor of Philosophy in curriculum and teaching with two distinct concentrations:

Doctor of Philosophy, Concentration in Teacher Education and Development (TED)

The teacher education concentration is designed for candidates who wish to pursue careers as teacher educators in university-based teacher education programs or who wish to pursue careers in curriculum and/or instructional administration in schools and districts.

Doctor of Philosophy, Concentration in Higher Education Administration (HED)

The higher education concentration is designed for seasoned administrators and qualified scholars who seek advanced studies in college and university leadership or student affairs administration in higher education.
