Frequently Asked Questions:
I haven't taught for two years. Can I start my Masters?
If you have taught for at least one year and are currently employed you can apply. You will need to have completed two full years of teaching by the time you complete your Masters Degree program. You can also take up to three courses through VISIONS before you are formally accepted. See the graduate school website for information on the VISIONS Program.
Should I take these courses in any particular order?
Typically students take the core courses first and take the pedagogical courses as they are offered. TED 676 and TED 677 are taken the final year of the program.
How quickly can I complete the program?
Because some courses are not offered every year the answer to this question depends on when you start the program. If you are a part-time student taking one or two courses a semester, it will take you a minimum of 6 semesters (Spring and Fall and Summer School).
Is this program available online?
A few classes may be available online or partially online, but there is no guarantee of this.
