Technique Enrollment Policy

To ensure an optimal learning environment for all students, to ensure that Dance majors can meet graduation requirements in a timely manner, to ensure fairness for all students, and to make the best use of faculty time, the Department of Dance will follow the procedure detailed below for pre-registration in Fall, 2008 Ballet and Contemporary classes.

Lives
in New Mexico where she is the Vice President of the New Mexico Dance
Coalition, a state wide non-profit whose mission is to promote dance
through the state and to help dancers connect. She also just produced
my first concert which was November 12th and 13th. I had pieces ranging
from middle eastern and performance art to modern, hip-hop and break

Lianna was married July 12, 2003 and is now known as Lianna M.
Slaughter. She is currently living in Greensboro working as a freelance
costume
designer/constructor, choreographer and graphic designer. She has also
taken up the art of creating quilts and quilted wall hangings which may
soon
be seen in art galleries and festivals throughout North Carolina.

Lise Serrell is currently working as an organic horticulturist at the
Glynwood Center in Cold Spring, NY. When she is not in the soil, she is in
the city making dance-related work with her sister, Becky Serrell. They have
had the honor of showing work at St. Mark's Church in the Bowery in an
evening currated by Nami Yamomato, Judson Church through Movement Research,
and the AUNTS bash. This June they will be showing at Dixon Place in an
evening currated by Michael Helland and in the fall at The Kitchen in an
evening currated by Dean Moss. Lise has also had the pleasure of working
with Jennifer Monson at the Ridgewood Resevoir, Sam Kim at Dance Theatre
Workshop, Heather Kravas at Judson Church and at Dance Theater Workshop, Mei
Yin Ng at PS 122, Alajandera Mattorell at PS 122, and Luis Lara Malvacias as
several other venues.
In the fall of 2005, Lise traveled to Findhorn, Scotland to study and learn the solo entitled O,O made by Deborah Hay. The following year, Lise was a
rehearsal assistant to Deborah while she was setting ROOM on a stellar cast
performed at St. Mark's Church in the bOwery. Lise later performed O,O at

Lauren still lives in NYC, and is dancing for fun, taking classes, and is really into yoga and Pilates. She also teaches dance to children, as well as yoga to both children and adults. In addition, Lauren is a personal trainer, with a few private clients.
