Since graduating, I've worked as an intern and outreach teacher at Dance
Place in Washington, D.C., and I briefly toured KY, teaching kids the
fundamentals of dance with a group called New Performing Arts. Presently,
I'm living in Louisville, KY and am on the faculty at the Louisville Ballet
School, in addition to teaching in several other locations around town. I
will soon begin working as an office manager at the Ursuline School for the
Performing Arts, and in late 2005 I started a dance collective with a
colleague, Theresa Bautista, called Moving Collective, which provides
performance and choreographic opportunities for regional dance artists. I
can be contacted at tamaraleebegley@hotmail.com.

I have been living in Brooklyn, NY since October, 2005. I've performed throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn and have recently shown choreography at the Hatch Series and University Settlement. I'll be presenting a new work in the Alumni Concert in September at UNCG and I am thrilled! In 2006, I joined Kathleen Kelley (2005) to create Labor Force Dances. The company is conceptually influenced by my background studies in anatomy and the physical threshold, as well as Kathleen’s studies in psychology. In addition to dancing, I am teaching Pilates and attending the Swedish Institute, studying massage therapy. I'll graduate in December '07. I got married in August!
