Undergraduate Dance Audition:
Please note: the date of our next undergraduate audition has changed. Our next Undergraduate Dance Audition will now be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Registration for the audition is required and interested students should submit a completed Audition Request Form to the Department. The registration deadline for the March 27, 2010 audition is Friday, March 19, 2010. The form must be received by us on or before that date for admittance on March 27, 2010.

Suzanne E. Henneman, BS

Suzanne received her degree in Dance Education. She is currently the dance resource teacher for Baltimore County Public Schools, responsible for the fine arts dance programs in the county, as well as in-serve for Physical Education teachers and their dance and rhythms units. She had the pleasure of teaching in the dance classroom for 21 years prior to taking on the role as leader for dance in the county. Suzanne has been nominated and selected to receive the William C. Burdick Award from the Maryland Associaton for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. She is both humbled and honored to receive this award in that it is given to a visionary leader in the state and she believes she is the first to receive it as a dance educator. She says, "I am indebted to UNCG and the faculty within the HHP for giving me a strong background in dance and education and the roots of a realization of a childhood dream. It truly is an impact of one and power of many that has driven and guided me these 30 years."
