Heather Mims Kaczmarek is currently living and working in NYC, where she has performed with the Heather Harrington Dance Company, Daniel Charon, Vanessa Justice, and Thread Dance Theater. In 2005, she formed HMK Dance as a vehicle for her own work and has shown choreography in various NYC venues, including Dance New Amsterdam, the Cool New York Festival, the DUMBO Dance Festival, The Bridge for Dance, and Greenspace. She received an MFA in Choreography from the Ohio State University in 2003. When not teaching Pilates or choreographing, she enjoys her ashtanga yoga practice and spending time with her husband, cat, and two dogs (yes, it's a very full household for a Manhattan apartment).
