Technique Placement Class
Our next placement class for students interested in taking technique classes and who are not placed at a level will be on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 5pm in studio 322. Registration is not required.
Undergraduate Dance Audition:
Our next audition for prospective dance majors will be on April 3, 2010. Registration for the audition is required and interested students should submit a completed Audition Request Form to the Department. The registration deadline for the April 3, 2010 audition is Friday, March 26, 2010.

Directions To The UNCG Dance Theater

From West (Winston-Salem):
- Take I-40 East to Greensboro
- Take the Wendover Ave. East Exit.
- This exit will loop around and you will take a Right onto Wendover Avenue.
- Wendover Ave. will be several lanes wide at that point and will take you through a series of stoplights before it becomes a local highway with exits.
- Drive past exits for Spring Garden, Clifton Road, and Friendly Shopping Center.
- Exit Right at the Battleground Avenue/Westover Terrace Exit.
- You will loop around on the exit ramp and go Right onto Westover Terrace.
- Westover Terrace becomes Aycock Street.
- At the stoplight intersecting Aycock and Walker Ave, Turn Left onto Walker Avenue.
- Walker Avenue Parking Deck will be on your right ($1.00/hour), and the Dance Building on your left. Come inside the Dance Building where it says"Rosenthal Gymnasium" over the doors, UNCG DANCE banners hanging out front. You will be in the Dance ticket lobby and will be directed to the Theater entrance. This is 1408 Walker Avenue.
From the South (Salisbury, Charlotte, Atlanta, GA):
- From I-85 North, take the Coliseum Area exit, #122-B.
- Follow for approximately 1.7 miles and turn left at the stoplight onto Coliseum Boulevard.
- Pass the Greensboro Colesium on your left, and continue straight through intersections with Lee Street and Spring Garden Street.
- Turn Right onto Walker Avenue.
- Walker Avenue Parking Deck will be on your right ($1.00/hour), and the Dance Building on your left. Come inside the Dance Building where it says"Rosenthal Gymnasium" over the doors, UNCG DANCE banners hanging out front. You will be in the Dance ticket lobby and will be directed to the Theater entrance. This is 1408 Walker Avenue.
From the North and East (Burlington, Raleigh/Durham, Richmond, VA):
- From I-40/85, pass the "Greensboro next 10 Interchanges" sign and stay in right lane.
- When two highways split (just past the Randleman Rd. exit), follow I-40 West towards Winston-Salem.
- Take the Freeman Mill Road/Coliseum Area exit, #218-B.
- Turn left at the first stoplight onto Coliseum Boulevard.
- Pass the Greensboro Colesium on your left, and continue straight through intersections with Lee Street and Spring Garden Street.
- Turn Right onto Walker Avenue.
- Walker Avenue Parking Deck will be on your right ($1.00/hour), and the Dance Building on your left.
