Katie Fennell has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from UNCG, and has an extensive background in art and writing. She is currently obtaining her Master's degree in English and Writing & Editing from UNCG. In the Dance Department, Katie is responsible for the website, coordinating the biannual undergraduate audition and the biannual placement class, overseeing and handling enrollment, the design and distribution of Department advertising materials (e.g. concert posters and programs, brochures, information packets), as well as coordinating events such as Department Community Meetings. She has studied classical ballet for 20 years and has worked with and been guided by teachers such as John Walker, B.J. Sullivan, Karla Coghill, and Nicole Laliberté.
