Originally from Taunton, Massachusetts, Kerrie-Jean Hudson moved to North Carolina to pursue her graduate studies. She holds an MFA in Choreography from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a BFA in dance from Florida State University. While at UNCG, Kerrie was the recipient of the Theodore and Loretta Williams Research fund for Arts Health and the Kristina Larson Excellence in Choreography Award. Kerrie has had the opportunity to work with many world-renowned choreographers, including Doug Varone, Garth Fagen, Alan Danielson, and Jawole Zollar, to name a few. Prior to graduate school, she performed professionally with Adele Myers & Dancers (NYC), Fusionworks Dance Company (RI), Andary Dance Company (RI), and Snappy Dance Theatre (MA). Her own choreography has been performed at ACDFA, as well as in Boston, Providence, Florida, and North Carolina. She has taught at Milton Academy, Bridgewater State College, Fusionworks Dance Academy, and is currently working as an Adjunct Professor at both UNCG and Elon University.
