PRIORITIES AND POLICIES FOR SCHEDULING STUDIO SPACE (revised 6/07)
Rehearsal space in the Department of Dance is scheduled by the Department Technical Director or his designate. Space is for use by Departmental students, faculty, and staff. Alumni and other invited guests may use the space for designated Departmental events (such as the Alumni Concert or North Carolina Dance Festival) by prior arrangement. Anyone else must make arrangements through Continual Learning to use the space for any purpose.
PRIORITIES AND POLICIES FOR SCHEDULING STUDIO SPACE
A. Advance Reservations
Please see bulletin board for most current priority listing for advance reservations. Declared Dance majors and minors, as well as faculty and staff, may sign up for advance reservations. All other UNCG students and staff must register with the Department, signing the rehearsal space agreement form and giving full contact information, to be able to do so.
B. Signing up once sheets have been posted
Write in both first and last name clearly.
Those who sign up are presumed to be using the space for their own University-connected work, not to gain space for a non-affiliated group or individual. The student/staff/faculty member whose name appears on the list must either be present for the whole time they have reserved space, or notify the Technical Director (in writing) regarding the name of the responsible party conducting the rehearsal. The individual who has signed out the space will be held responsible for any problems that occur during its use.
