Specific course requirements may be found in the Undergraduate Bulletin. It is important to see an advisor every semester, since changes are sometimes made that affect students already in progress. Check with your advisor in case changes are made. You must fit three G´s (GL or GN) and one WI course into other GEC categories or use free electives. Students entering in Fall, '02 or later also need an SI course. You may "double dip" or even "triple dip," meaning, for example, that a course may be an HP course and also count for GL, WI, and SI credit. Note that some sections of a course may be marked WI or SI even if all sections of the same course are not. Just because a course requires a lot of writing doesn´t mean that it has a WI marker! The sample programs indicate that all GEC courses are 3-credits. Note that there is only one 3-credit lab science at UNCG (Physical Anthropology, ATY 253).
