Numeric code for the evaluation of achievement in dance repertory:

1= unsatisfactory achievement                    (insufficient skills to be a cast member in dance-works)

2= minimal achievement                           (sufficient skills for small roles in dance-works)

3= moderate achievement                          (new abilities emerging, but inconsistently visible)

4= strong achievement                              (on a good track for future professional opportunities)

5= excellent achievement                          (fulfills potential as a performer at this level)

Using the numeric code, and considering expectations appropriate to the repertory level, score this student on the following criteria:

_____ Improvise movement material to meet the stipulation(s) of choreographic prompts;

_____ Adjust qualities of performance to meet the stipulation(s) of choreographic directives;

_____ Respond quickly and accurately to manipulations of choreographic sequence/structure;

_____ Retain during performances all dance-technical and artistic corrections given earlier;
