Time Warner Cable - Investing in the Triad Community

Time Warner Cable has made a commitment to Piedmont Triad consumers that goes far beyond providing high quality service and products.  Giving back to the community is a major priority for the company.  Since 2001, Time Warner Cable has been a partner in UNCG’s effort to market the University and its services to the Triad community through its community donor program.  Every year, Time Warner Cable provides in-kind contributions to support local initiatives and national non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Hospice, and the Boys and Girls Scouts through the production and distribution of public service announcements (PSAs).

Inside UNCG – Sharing Our Story

As part of UNCG’s effort to expand upon its growing reputation as a premier academic institution, the University Relations department has launched its first major marketing campaign. The goal of the new campaign is to raise awareness for the innovative and unique programs conducted in business, cultural leadership, education, public policy and science. The campaign targets business leaders and alumni to build affinity and top-of-mind recall for the university.

University Offers New Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Programs

The new Consumer, Apparel and Retail Studies (CARS) Department, formerly the Textile Products Design and Marketing Department, is offering new curriculums for both undergraduate and graduate study starting fall of 2005.
