An inviting campus draws students to a university; an invigorating learning environment empowers them to succeed. UNCG is proud to offer both. We work diligently to create an exceptional atmosphere for teaching, learning and uniting with our community. Whether in a classroom, an art gallery, a concert hall or on an athletic field, our goal is to surround students with a variety of opportunities and resources that foster talents and expand perspectives. We engage our students with modernized academic buildings, new technologies and tools for academic success. Our campus culture encourages them to develop a connection with one another, to interact with communities and lives beyond campus, and to broaden their understanding of the world and appreciation of its complexity.
Our vision is not complete, however. As enrollment increases and student needs evolve, we must elevate the learning environment. Combining private donations with funds provided by the North Carolina higher education bond, we will continue to build our infrastructure, encouraging students to embrace UNCG as their university of first choice. Our objectives represent the next phase of exciting progress for UNCG’s learning landscape.
