The Corporate & Foundation Relations Program seeks to develop partnerships between UNCG and the corporate and foundation communities based on shared interests and priorities.
Resources available to the corporate community are described in detail at the Corporate Resources page.
UNCG actively seeks gifts from corporations and foundations that would benefit many areas within the university. Examples of recent giving to the university include program support, equipment support, as well as scholarships and fellowships.
The Center for New North Carolinians has received corporate and foundation support from RBC Centura, Duke Energy Foundation, Miller Brewing Company, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. The Center is grateful for these corporate gifts which have greatly benefited immigrant and refugee communities in the Triad.
Equipment for the new science building was purchased from money given by the following corporations and foundations: Wachovia, Syngenta, Jefferson-Pilot Foundation, Dickson Foundation, Cemala Foundation, Pepsi-Cola Bottlers of Winston-Salem, United Guaranty Corporation, The Hillsdale Fund, Harris-Teeter, Burlington Industries Foundation, Piedmont Natural Gas, Silicones, Novartis Animal Health US, and the Cat Clinic of Greensboro.
