Success by the Unit
The Students First Campaign is the largest in
UNCG history. Encompassing the five years between July 1, 2004 and June
30, 2009, the unprecedented fundraising initiative began with a goal of
$78.2 million, increased that goal to $100 million, and ultimately
achieved more than $115 million in total gifts and pledges, thanks to
nearly 22,000 donors.
UNCG worked closely with donors to express their personal vision for
giving. Some gave to unrestricted funds while others chose to support a particular school or a
program. See how the College, seven professional schools and other units across campus achieved
success throughout our history-making campaign.
