* Officially grades are due on the date when the instructor is assigned to give the final exam. Composition instructors are required to be in their offices during this exam time period, which is posted on the Registrar’s website. Since the Composition program instructors use portfolios to evaluate students holistically, the final exam time is most often used for returning portfolios and conferring with students over final grades. Composition instructors are advised to collect portfolios in the last two weeks of class to give themselves enough time for evaluation.
