English Graduate Student Association
The EGSA works to build a community of English graduate students at UNCG and advocates on behalf of that community within the English department. We facilitate communication between the graduate student body and their elected representatives on the department's graduate studies committee. We strive to improve the academic, professional, and personal experience of all graduate students by working to identify and voice their needs. We help support a community of English graduate students through mentoring programs, professional development activities, and leadership opportunities. Through an ongoing conversation among the department's administration and students, we hope to effect positive change and growth in the graduate studies program.
