EGSA meetings
2010-2011
The EGSA board meets regularly and holds body-wide meetings when the need arises.
Our first meeting of the whole EGSA body for the 2010-2011 year was a state-of-the-organization meeting on Wednesday, September 8. We explained the EGSA's role in the department and gave several organizations that are run by English graduate students the opportunity to explain what they do and ask for volunteers. Pizza and beverages were provided.
Your EGSA board is always open to ideas from our student body. We primarily focus on facilitating dialogue within the department, raising funds, helping organizations find volunteers, and providing opportunities for academic and professional learning. We are also working on a special EGSA blend of Starbucks coffee for the winter holidays and customized t-shirts. We always welcome further suggestions.
