The EGSA plans several social events throughout the year, the first of which is our annual halloween party.
Directions to Jacob and Niki Babb’s House. From MHRA (pretend you’ve exited the Oakland parking deck:
1. Take a left onto Spring Garden St.
2. Take a left onto Aycock St.
3. Stay on Aycock/Lovett for a little more than a mile. You will cross Florida St. Oh yes, you will.
4. Take a right on Ontario St. If you get to Freeman Mill Rd., you've gone too far.
5. Take a right on Hubert St. The sign is slightly obscured by a tree, just to add a challenge. If you get to Coliseum Blvd., you’ve gone just barely too far.
6. Our house is the sixth on the left. 2210 Hubert St. It is a green and gray house with lavender shutters. You just can’t miss those shutters. Even at night.
Dogs: Ignore the inevitable and marginally insane barking of our dogs, especially the one who sounds (and sort of looks) like a medium-sized hellhound. Not only will they spend most of the evening in the back yard, but they are also very sweet dogs once they calm down. Yes, all dog owners say that.
Parking: You can park on the street. If space runs out on Hubert St., you can go past the house and park on Bertie St. I would encourage carpooling when possible.
