Gregynog Conference Center, Newtown, Poowys, Wales

Travel Directions

Travel to Gregynog

The website for Gregynog Hall, the conference center for the University of Wales (http://www.wales.ac.uk/en/UniversityConferenceCentre/GregynogHall.aspx), gives full details about the location of the Hall and how to reach it, particularly by car. Those travelling by public transport are advised that the nearest railway station is Newtown (Powys). Trains leave London’s Euston Station for Newtown every two hours and take approximately three and a half hours. There are also trains every two hours from the international airports at Birmingham and Manchester, taking approximately two hours and three hours respectively. There will be a conference minibus meeting the trains at Newtown station on Thursday 13 October; please advise us which train you will be catching, so that we can estimate the numbers to be met at Newtown station and taken on to Gregynog.
