This option is designed for students already holding North Carolina Standard Professional I licensure for secondary teaching in English. It requires 39 hours of work including a directed research project. There is no thesis or foreign language requirement. Prerequisite is undergraduate course equivalents for the B.A. in English with Standard Professional I licensure.
