Teaching Interests

After years of graduate-level teaching Professor Langenfeld now focuses exclusively on undergraduate courses in nineteenth and twentieth-century British literature, along with a new course in editing and publishing, English 400: Contemporary Publishing in America.

Research Interests

For over thirty years Langenfeld has been editor and publisher of ELT Press and the internationally recognized journal, English Literature in Transition, 1880-1920. In its 57th year of publication ELT has a large audience of scholars and general readers worldwide via online subscription services: the prestigious Johns Hopkins University Press’s Project MUSE; EBSCO’s Periodicals for Public Libraries; ProQuest.
