Study Abroad
The English Department participates in a junior year exchange program with the University of Hull in England. There are, furthermore, numerous opportunities for exchange with other universities abroad. These programs are very reasonably priced--the cost of attending UNCG plus transportation. On occasion, the Department organizes and staffs a Summer School Abroad in England. Ordinarily this is a six-week program; the location and subject matter vary from year to year. The program usually carries six undergraduate credits, but arrangements are often made to offer graduate credit as well.
